Lazy Sunday

Best outfit after a craycray night. Most comfortable sweater I bought in a really long time. I got it from Trend Boutique downtown Montreal. They know all about Swag attire!

Sneakers, leggings, and pull-over + Pub brunch = Happy Camper

One foot ahead

Here's what I wore today. This is the other jacket I got at le Surplus de l'armée. It is a lighter one and more everyday type of jacket than the army one. I love its length and fabric, and its the most convenient summer coat.

I wore these wide jeans I had gotten at Zara around 5 years ago. They are still in good shape because I don't wear them often, I only do when I really feel like it. They're summer jeans, super thin and airy. They're very long and I tend to step on them when I wear them with ballerinas (which I really don't mind and I actually like it).

Wedges are easy heels to walk in during the day. Same as flats except one foot taller ;).

FurCargoJeansBooties

I am hoping this is the last time I'm wearing my fur vest this year. So here is a busy outfit of different materials. I was getting dressed this morning and I simply kept adding on layers, it's still cold in Montreal and super windy.  These jeans are kind of boyfriend jeans, I got them 2 sizes bigger to get a looser effect. I don't see the point of having tight ripped jeans, it looks like your skin is trapped in them and is screaming 'HELP' through each and every single whole. (The Sausage Look)

The cargo shirt I am wearing is from The Gap (got it 3 years ago)  and my sister stole it and was wearing it as a pyjama pretty much since I bought it. She made me forget about it until I tried it on again. I kept it open with a shirt underneath and loved the look. Pretty casual vibe.

I got these 3 gold rings for practically nothing yesterday at the Brandy Melville store (it recently opened in downtown Montreal). After one day of wearing them they already started to stain my fingers. I hate it when it happens.

*Note to life: This just proves me once again that cheap things are stupid to get. It's better to get one good real item and keep it forever than to get cheap things and having to replace them all the time.

The Real Thangg

I'M BACK ! Here I am after almost a month of MIA. I thought I had it all figured out and could work and blog post at the same time but to be honest I have been very extremely lazy. I now realize what it means being tiered after a nice long day at work.

I have been looking for a nice army jacket and could not find one for ages. The ones I see at Zara, H&M, Forever21, and other higher end names were way too fake. The fabric was too thin, or the colours were off, or were studded up/diamond-up/sequined-up  in a horrible way. An army jacket is enough of a statement on its own, no need for extra blingbling.

I had gotten discouraged on my army jacket quest until I met a squeegee at the corner of St Catherine and St Denis. He was ROCKING this amazing khaki coat. He tipped me off a name: Surplus de l'armée ! Keep it on the down low though. I'll write more about this place in my next post. Meanwhile enjoy this. Peace.
