I was looking for a spring coat of mine in our big cedar closet in the basement where each season we bring some jackets in and take some out. I was surprised to find this grey coat there. I had completely forgotten about it. It doesn't get more vintage than this item. This coat comes from my grand mother and I believe it was initially a man's coat that she then got readjusted lightly by the shoulders, and maybe cut a bit at the length, so that it would fit her better. Long story short, my sister came home one day, a few years ago, with it. She had worn it a bit and then we forgot about it. I love it. The colour, the thickness of the fabric and its sharp and very straight cut. Very cool piece of clothing right there. I am wearing a long shirt / short dress underneath my sweater. I designed this dress and had it made. It came out a bit short on the length but with tights I can still manage to wear it as a dress. I throw on a long jacket and it doesn't show, or I can wear it half tucked in with a pair of pants, like in these pictures. I wore my short boots today, it felt good to be PRACTICALLY wearing shoes in this weather.
